Dale Partners Architects provided master planning and architectural design services for The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center, a 200-room, 205,000-square-foot Sheraton destination resort located on an eight-acre site overlooking the newly renovated Refuge Golf Course in Flowood, Mississippi. Conceived as a premier hospitality and conference destination for the Jackson metropolitan area, the development blends resort amenities with expansive meeting and event facilities.
The project features 25,000 square feet of flexible meeting and conference space, complemented by a variety of guest-focused amenities including a full-service restaurant, wine bar, cooking school, spa, golf pro shop, and a signature 19th-Hole Bar overlooking the course. Outdoor amenities include a rooftop bar, resort-style swimming pool, and poolside bar, creating a vibrant social atmosphere for guests and visitors alike.
Through thoughtful site planning and hospitality-focused design, the project establishes a distinctive golf resort experience while expanding the region’s capacity for conferences, events, and destination travel.
