SUMMARY:

The new Science and Technology Center is a three-story research studies, education and outreach facility for Mississippi State University located on the Stennis Space Center campus. The steel-frame facility houses office space, conference rooms and classrooms to allow the Northern Gulf Institute (NGI) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to increase their research capabilities. The building is hardened to resist coastal weather and storms and provides a secure location for a high performance research data center. LEED certification and unique storm-water management were critical to the project to enhance NGI and NOAA’s pursuit to preserve our environment.
