Arts District Parking Facility / Meridian, MS - Planning, design and construction of a new parking structure located in historic downtown Meridian. The facility is a poured-in-place concrete structure. The exterior of brick and precast concrete captures the historical architectural character of downtown Meridian. Its punched openings are suggestive of windows, and its proportion and exterior articulation recall the existing commercial buildings nearby. This 7000 SF project was completed in 2005 with a construction cost of $5.3 million.
