Point Cadet Master Plan / Biloxi, MS - Our firm collaborated with Arquitectonica on the development of a master plan for the 16+ acre Point Cadet property. This collaboration included the design of a new aquarium facility that was planned to provide exhibit space, laboratories, conference rooms, classrooms, offices, a restaurant, gift shop and 700,000 gallons of various aquaria. The project also was planned to include a new waterfront amphitheater, waterfront boardwalk, 660-car parking garage and a renovation of the existing J.L. Scott Marine Education Center and Aquarium. The developers of the complex include the Institution of Higher Learning, the Isle of Capri, the State of Mississippi and the City of Biloxi.
