Reunion Clubhouse
Reunion Clubhouse / Madison, MS - Our firm provided planning services for this proposed two-story clubhouse with dining room, bar, grill, locker rooms, office space, outdoor terrace area, support spaces and attic storage. The building was planned to be positioned for easy access by guests to its porte cochere entry, golf club drop off point and service drive for deliveries and pick-ups. A circular drive was included to cut into the existing center median to provide better access to the porte cochere. Sidewalks were to connect the clubhouse to the existing buildings in close proximity to allow for safe pedestrian traffic between each. The site was to feature a golf cart staging area easily accessed by both guests and staff members with a large electronic scoreboard and covered patio area. Approximately 80 new parking spaces were also to be added on-site. Estimated construction cost: $9.0 Million; 33,000 SF. -
Treasure Bay Casino
Treasure Bay Casino and Resort Mater Plans and Hotel Expansion / Biloxi, MS - In 1997, our firm prepared an extensive master plan including the addition of two new 175-key hotel towers. An atrium was also planned to connect the two towers and the present hotel together. Parking to accommodate 750 cars was also included. In 2004, our firm master planned a four-phased expansion of the casino. Phases included a central lobby/porte cochere, 818-car parking garage, two 224-key hotel towers and a 280-key hotel tower with a 384-car garage. In 2005-2006, we completed design development for the hotel renovation and additions to the damaged areas of this resort hotel after Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast. The Tides at Tops’L / Sandestin, FL - With its concrete construction, stucco exteriors and tile roof, the 15-story Tides reflects a dramatic Spanish Mediterranean architectural style. This development consists of 15 three-bedroom / three-bath units and 149 two-bedroom / two-bath units for a total of 164 luxurious condominiums. Historic Threefoot Building Renovations and Additions / Meridian, MS - Planning and programming for the adaptive reuse of the historic Threefoot Building in downtown Meridian. The plans include converting the building into a boutique hotel with 107 guest rooms, a 120-seat restaurant, meeting rooms, boardrooms, a Business Center, exercise center and retail space. The Summit at Tops’L
The Summit at Tops’L / Sandestin, FL - This 11-story 154-unit condominium facility is set within the exclusive Tops’L Beach and Racquet Resort. It is comprised of 99 two-bedroom / two-bath units and 55 three-bedroom / three-bath units, including 14 top-floor penthouses in three wings. All condos have private balconies overlooking the pool, spa and sun decks. The design recalls a Spanish Mediterranean theme through the use of colored stuccos, shutters, walkways, ceramic tile medallions, tiled roofs and cupolas. South Beach Resort
South Beach Resort and Casino / Biloxi, MS - Our firm provided design services for this mixed-use development straddling the northern and southern parcels on the highly visible U.S. Highway 90/Beach Boulevard in Biloxi. The development was planned to contain an 848-key condotel, and/or condominiums, an 820-key hotel, two gaming floors, two parking garages, meeting/conference spaces, entertainment venue, retail, eight restaurants and pedestrian-friendly landscaping. The architectural character of the property was planned to resemble the beachfront art deco architecture of the 1930s and 1940s. Neon accents, water walls, up-lighting and signage help rotundas form a gateway for this mixed-use entertainment district. Sheraton Suites Hotel
Sheraton Suites Hotel / Key West, FL - This three-story, 185-suite hotel utilizes an exterior corridor “side-by-side” suite arrangement. The facility includes suites clustered around small courtyards with fountains and elevated wooden walkways. Other amenities include a large pool and deck, activities area, full service restaurant / kitchen, administrative offices and a “Gatehouse” commercial building. The oceanfront property allows views to salt ponds on two sides and the ocean on another. The exterior design captures Bahamian styling and features deep roof overhangs, numerous porches, operable window shutters, wood trim, a metal roof and lush landscaping. Lady Luck Casino
Lady Luck Casino / Vicksburg, MS - Preliminary master plan and design of a new casino and hotel. The master plan includes a 413-room hotel and a three-story, 1,575-car parking garage. The 35,000 GSF Monte Carlo Casino adjoins a 45,330 GSF shore side complex, which will house an entertainment theater, high-end restaurant and a buffet restaurant. Guests would enter the casino by escalator through a two-story atrium that would accommodate a 24-hour cafe and retail shops located between the hotel’s upper lobby and casino. Irving Hotel Development
Irving Hotel Development / Irving, TX - Our firm is assisting a national developer in a competition for a new hotel development in Irving, TX, bringing two hotels to a convention district as well as other new developments. The first hotel (InterContinental Hotel) will consist of 300 full-service rooms and approximately 257,000 SF on 16 levels. Plans also include 6,500 SF for retail, restaurant, lobby bars and back of house functions. There will be a 7,500 SF ballroom and a 4,200 SF junior ballroom. The second hotel (Indigo Hotel) will be a 120-room, 96,000 SF all-suite hotel with 1,650 SF of retail. There will also be a landscaped garden pool area and a full-service restaurant. A retail component will provide over 30,000 SF of boutique, open-air space and 8,000 SF of street front retail. A planned parking facility will also be expanded to include an additional 450 spaces. Holiday Inn Commercial Building / Hammond, LA - This new Holidome addition and renovation to the commercial building at this hotel was designed for Inn-Serv of Meridian, MS. An atrium joins an existing U-shaped guestroom wing to a new building containing the public spaces. Other facility features include a 20-seat piano bar, full-service 95-seat Colonnade Restaurant, 70-seat courtyard cafe, 120-seat LaVeranda Lounge, a meeting room to accommodate 150 and a ballroom designed to serve 500. Harrah’s Casino, Tunica
Harrah’s Casino / Tunica, MS - Preparation of conceptual master plan for the expansion of this existing casino and hotel including the incorporation of a connector to a proposed retail mall and theater complex. The expansion project calls for a new 400-room hotel, a 100-seat 24-hour restaurant, an enclosed pool area, a 1,300-car parking structure and extensive pool / activity deck. Harrah’s Casino Expansion
Harrah’s Casino Expansion / Joliet, IL - Dale Partners was selected as the prime consultant for a new, 85,800 SF casino/barge and six-story, 930-car precast parking structure. This project includes an air conditioned elevated connector to the casino entry, retail space, new casino back of house and support space in addition to the existing pavilion including a new precast main entry portecochere. There is also a 250-seat buffet with full kitchen, renovation of the existing buffet to an upscale 24-hour café and new entry drive. Adjacent to the lobby is a 260-seat restaurant / lounge overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The third floor consists of convention / meeting spaces. These spaces include a 7,800 SF ballroom, three 1,000 SF meeting rooms, four boardrooms and 5,810 SF of prefunction space. The fourth floor includes a health club with an exercise area and locker rooms as well as a swimming pool and deck. Fairfield Sedona Hotel
Fairfield Sedona Suites Hotel / Sedona, AZ - Planning of a two-story 48-key, limited service hotel located on a 2.26 acre site. Public spaces include lobbies, a complimentary breakfast area and conference facility. Other guest amenities include a health club with lockers, an exterior heated pool and deck and vending areas within all guest room wings. The first floor contains 14 one-bedroom suites, and four one-bedroom studios. The second floor has 22 one-bedroom suites and eight one-bedroom studios. Embassy Suites Vacation Resort / Orlando, FL - This 370-unit timeshare vacation resort complex is situated on 17.5 acres. The resort consists of three-bedroom units configured in seven six-story buildings with covered parking and seven four-story buildings. The units include full kitchen, dining area and living room with a balcony. The guest amenities include on-site retention water features, recreation buildings with two swimming pools, two lighted tennis courts and beach access to Lake Bryan. Embassy Memphis
Embassy Suites Hotel / Memphis, TN - This five-story, 223-suite hotel opened in Memphis in the fall of 1989. The facility includes an atrium, a restaurant accommodating 110 persons and banquet / meeting space. The hotel site is part of the Ragalia Center Development. The exterior design and materials were developed to be compatible with the Ragalia’s design standards. Special features include metal cooper roofs and a granite entry area, plus an interior atrium utilizing a landscaped rock and waterscape design. Embassy Alanta
Embassy Suites Hotel / Atlanta, GA - Design of a five-story hotel which accommodates 234 suites, plus standard features such as an atrium, restaurant, lounge, complimentary breakfast/bar, meeting room, two small meeting rooms, interior and exterior pool, guest laundry, exercise room, sauna and whirlpool. This facility is located at the Atlanta International Airport and represents the first of a new generation of low-rise Embassy Suites, which were introduced nationally. Casablanca Casino Resort
Casablanca Casino and Resort / Biloxi, MS - Our firm provided services through schematic design for the design of a new casino and resort planned to provide 365 hotel rooms and 732 condominiums. The exterior drew much of its architectural character from the palaces and mosques of Northwest Africa and Southern Spain. The courtyard design at the entrances and pool levels is inspired by the Moorish architecture of the Al Hambra complex in Spain. Plans also included convention space, a theatre and retail space. A 4,720-car parking facility was also included. Cache Creek Casino Resort / Brooks, CA - Our firm as part of an association is providing full architectural services for the expansion of a casino for the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation. The expansion includes a new event/conference center, three new restaurants, a restaurant renovation, additional gaming floor and office space as well as related support facilities and utility upgrades. The existing 415,000 SF facility contains 94,720 SF of casino space featuring 2,200 slot machines and more than 120 table games. Also included currently is a 200-room luxury hotel renovation, a health spa, eight restaurants, an entertainment venue and casino gift shop. Village at Bon Secour
Village at Bon Secour / Gulf Shores, AL - Bon Secour was a residential/commercial/retail community planned to cover 1,000 acres. Located on the Intracoastal Waterway, the new development was to function as the epicenter for the city. The eastern side of the property was planned to host a 60-slip marina providing a central hub for boating activity and two 15-story condominium towers to add prominence to the harbor. Surrounding the marina was to be additional condominium units and an 800-bay dry dock storage facility providing easy access to the waterway. Several retail shops, offices and housing developments were also included west of the marina overlooking the boardwalk. Bayview Casino Resort
Bayview Casino and Resort / Biloxi, MS - Our firm provided services for the design of a new casino and resort on the Back Bay in Biloxi, MS. The ten-story facility was planned to provide 509 hotel rooms. The property was to provide guests with a rooftop pool featuring magnificent views of both the Back Bay and downtown Biloxi. A 2,004-car parking garage was also planned to connect to the property. We also assisted in the development of a marina for this project. Bacaran Bay Casino
Bacaran Bay Casino and Resort / Biloxi, MS - Our firm provided planning and design services for the design of a new Spanish Mission-themed casino and resort hotel. The resort was planned to be situated on 12 acres on the west side of Caillavet Street. The project featured 2,000 slots and 50 table games, seven restaurants, a full-service spa, salon and fitness center, two acres of pool decks, an entertainment venue, a shopping esplanade, wedding chapel, kids activity center and ample meeting space. A new 3,300-car parking garage was included as well as an 18-hole Arnold Palmer golf course. Embassy Suites Hotel / Lake Buena Vista, FL - Phase I – Design of a six-story, 280-suite facility located at Disney World. Design includes an interior atrium featuring a café and a meeting area with banquet facilities. A 1.5-acre lake was developed with fountains and decks. Phase II – Design of a 56-room, four-story addition totaling 43,800 SF. Included is an expansion of the pool deck and parking facility as well as the relocation of the tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. Sandestin Hilton Resort and Hotel / Sandestin, FL - Phase I– Expansion of the existing 400-room facility including a 200-room, seven-story wing tower adjoining the property’s west end. Pool and deck expansions were designed. Phase II– This phase included a conference/banquet facility. It contains a 10,000 SF ballroom, interior/exterior prefunction areas, entertainment areas and a 200-seat restaurant. Phase III– The third phase included a spa with a cascading whirlpool, guest treatment rooms and lounge areas. 1999 “Best Renovation of the Year” by Hilton Hotels; 1998-99 Golden Spoon Award to Seagar’s Restaurant.
